New First-Year Student Steps
Whether you are a prospective student considering an application or a student who has already been accepted for the new quarter, the following steps will help you navigate the matriculation process to La Sierra University.

Meet with an Enrollment Services counselor to discuss admission procedures, financial aid estimates, and available academic programs. Call (951) 785-2000, e-mail info@lasierra.edu, or visit them online at www.lasierra.edu/enrollment.
Apply online at www.lasierra.edu/apply, and request that official
- high school transcripts (with graduation date) or GED,
- SAT/ACT scores,
- Advanced Placement/CLEP/IB/TOEFL/IELTS scores (if any),
- and college transcripts (if any)
be MAILED directly from the school or testing organization to:

Receive e-mail and/or formal letter of acceptance from the Office of Admissions.
Physicals and immunizations are required before attending school. Students may seek services from La Sierra University's Health Services or their own physician. For more information, call (951) 785-2200, email health@lasierra.edu, or visit their website at www.lasierra.edu/health.

Send your FAFSA to La Sierra University (school code: 001215); then make an appointment with a financial aid counselor by calling (951) 785-2175 or e-mailing sfs@lasierra.edu. Pay at least one-third (1/3) of your quarter's balance by the following dates: September 15 for Fall Quarter, December 15 for Winter Quarter, and March 15 for Spring Quarter.
Access Self-Service at www.lasierra.edu/selfservice. Your USER ID is your six-digit student ID number. Your PASSWORD (PIN) is your 6-digit birthday in MMDDYY format. For example: May 18, 1990 becomes 051890. Resubmit this PIN (OLD PIN) then create a new PASSWORD (NEW PIN). Create your Lasierra EMAIL account. Use your email username and your email password to access MyCampus at mycampus.lasierra.edu. For directions, click here.
Holds prevent registration. View holds in your Self-Service account at www.lasierra.edu/selfservice. From the Main Menu, go to Students -> Student Records -> View Holds. To request information about a hold, contact the 4-digit campus extension beside each hold. If calling off-campus, add "(951) 785" to the extension: (951) 785-####.
Contact the Learning Support & Testing Center at (951) 785-2896 or testing@lasierra.edu to schedule an English and/or Math placement exam, if needed. Tests cost $20. Incoming Fall Quarter students may complete testing during Summer Orientation (placement exams fees are included in the Intro to College Freshman Fee).
Attend orientation to learn university policies, academic requirements, and campus resources important for a successful transition to La Sierra. To register, visit www.lasierra.edu/newstudents. NOTE: Only SUMMER orientations include placement testing and academic advising (class registration).
Students attending Summer Orientation will be advised and registered for classes during the orientation session. For students NOT attending Summer Orientation, contact the Center for Student Academic Success (C-SAS) at (951) 785-2452 or advising@lasierra.edu to schedule an advising appointment and receive your Registration (Alternate) PIN.
If you have not already done so, arrange for tuition payments according to yearly, quarterly, or monthly schedules. To speak with a financial aid counselor, call (951) 785-2175 or e-mail sfs@lasierra.edu.
Purchase books at www.lasierra.edu/bookstore or the campus bookstore on the bottom level of the Dining Commons (DC).
