Admission Requirements

All DCS Liberal Arts and Social Work students must:

  • be at least 22 years of age
  • have a minimum of 30 semester units/44 quarter units of transferable college/university credit
  • a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 2.0

Not sure how many transferable units you have?  No problem, let us prepare a Tentative Evaluation for you. 

All you need to do is (1) provide us with copies of all your college transcripts, (2) indicate which of our degree programs you are interested in, and (3) let us know how we can contact you (phone number and/or email address); and we'll do the rest. 

After the tentative evaluation is completed, our Academic Advisor will review it with you, at your convenience.  This evaluation will show if you have completed enough units to qualify for admission.  If you need more units before you're eligible to transfer, this evaluation will indicate which areas to take classes in to meet your transfer eligibility requirements.
