Suzanne Mallery is a clinical psychologist (PSY17401) with a Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Psychology, Fuller Theological Seminary; she also holds an M.A. in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary and a B.S. in Microbiology from UCLA.  During her internship at the University of Minnesota, she specialized in pediatric psychology, and continued this line of research in her posdoctoral fellowship at Loma Linda University.  Before coming to LSU, Dr. Mallery was an assistant professor at the Loma Linda University Department of Psychology and a clinical supervisor for LLU clinical psychology students.  Her current research focuses on Fowler's model of faith development, including the spirituality of older adults and the development of an empircal scale to measure faith development.  Her class offerings include:  Interviewing & Counseling, Psychological Assessment and Measurement, the Psychology Senior Seminar, Behavioral Neurobiology, Abnormal Psychology, Religion in the Brain, Psychology of Religion, Childhood in Global Perspective (for the University Studies Program), and Global Cultures in Context:  Islam in Europe (for the University Honors Program).  Additionally, each summer she leads a study tour to Turkey for sophomore Honors students.
