Admissions Requirements

To receive regular admission to the Professional MBA program, you need a combination of satisfactory grades and a satisfactory score on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). You can achieve provisional admission if your grade point average is 3.0 or higher or you have earned a suitable GMAT score; if you complete 12 units as a provisional student with a GPA of at least 3.0, you can move to regular status.

La Sierra’s Professional MBA comprises between 48 and 64 quarter units of work. You may waive pre-requisite/foundation courses (*) ACCT 507, ACCT 508, ECON 537 or MGMT 547 on the basis of prior academic work or documented, significant professional experience. Each course is offered 6-10 p.m. one night each week for six weeks with one additional Sunday session. Concentrations offered at our existing locations include Finance (Chino Hills) and General Management (Glendale, Los Angeles, Riverside). However, a new cohort group may customize their major emphasis and specific classes according to the interests of the group.
