Dean PhotoThe School of Education has a long history of offering well-respected master’s, doctoral, and credential programs to educators in the Riverside area and throughout the Seventh-day Adventist educational community. The School of Education has granted:

  • 1,720 Master of Arts degrees since 1968
  • 426 Specialist in Education degrees since 1976
  • 215 Doctor of Education degrees since 1982

School of Education Programs

Academic Programs

Curricula are offered for the degrees: Master of Arts in Teaching, Master of Arts, Specialist in Education, and Doctor of Education. Postbaccalaureate (or “fifth-year”) credential programs and a certificate program are also available. The credential programs are structured to fulfill requirements for teaching and service credentials prescribed by the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists Department of Education and/or the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
