La Sierra University's groundbreaking CognitiveGenesis Project is featured in the Christian Science Monitor, in an opinion-editorial piece submitted by CognitiveGenesis project director, Dr. Elissa Kido. The piece deals with the importance of holistic education and the Adventist denomination's commitment to generating students who are well rounded academically, spiritually and physically.

This research and analysis project spanned four years and involved tests and surveys of 51,706 students in 935 k-12 Adventist schools across the North American Division. Over the past few months, the positive results of this unprecedented study have been shared with segments of the global Adventist community. It is now a pleasure to give the broader public insights into the benefits of a Seventh-day Adventist education.
