Peter Phun | Photography
Peter Phun was a staff photographer for the Press-Enterprise newspaper before he embarked on his freelance photography career. During his tenure at the newspaper, he worked with black and white and color film in traditional wet darkrooms.
When film photography transitioned to digital, he embraced the change and became the first staff photographer at the Press-Enterprise to make the switch to digital cameras. Since then, Peter has twice been featured on KVCR, a PBS affiliate station in San Bernardino. Currently, Peter teaches photography part time at Riverside City College, UCR Extension & Riverside Art Museum. In addition to teaching photography, Peter has also collaborated with the Inlandia Institute to teach how to take charge of one’s web presence by building and maintaining their own websites using the Content Management System known as WordPress. When time permits, Peter does corporate and family portraiture and the occasional wedding. His portraiture and documentary work can be seen on UCRiverside’s publications and currently writes the blog, the "Pixels in Pete's World.”
