Summer Science Camp 2013
We proudly introduce Summer Science Camp 2013! New and improved, and back for our second year. Summer Science Camp provides a way for students grades 9-12 to experience the sciences with an interactive and hands-on approach. This year, there are three weeks of camp to choose from and enjoy. Space is limited, so register today!
Biomedical Science Week, June 17-21, will give students a look into various medical professions and delves into the worlds of biology and medicine. A highlight includes a trip to Sea World for a private behind-the-scenes tour.
Technology & Engineering Week, June 24-28, is designed for students ready to explore the latest technological advances, launch rockets and build timeless bridges. A day at California Adventure and experience at Disney's World of Physics will leave a lasting impression.
Marine Biology Week, June 30-July 3, is an overnight camping adventure. Students will become familiar with organisms living in our costal waters, experiencing ocean life up close and personal like never before. A trip to the Long Beach Aquarium and shadow of a Marine Biologist will conclude the week. This week has very limited space.
