Once you have received your offer of admission to La Sierra University, please follow these procedures to successfully enroll as a La Sierra student.
Register for Academic Orientation.
Important: Orientation is required for all new freshmen. During orientation, you will complete placement testing, speak to a financial counselor, complete health physical and clear immunizations, make residential arrangements, clear registration holds, select and register for Fall quarter, and obtain your ID card and parking permit.

Step 1: Confirm your attendance.
Important: Once the Office of Admissions & Records determines your acceptance, Maritza Aoyagi, our Records Specialist, will e-mail you requesting that you confirm your decision to attend La Sierra. Reply to the e-mail as soon as possible as the process to review your transcripts and determine course equivalencies will NOT begin until you reply to this e-mail.
Step 2: Take placement tests.
Step 3: Arrange for academic advising.
Step 4: Set up your student self-serve account.
Step 5: Check for registration holds.
Step 6: Register online.
Step 7: Register for new student orientation.
Step 8: Make arrangements for housing, your ID card and parking permit.

After receiving your Acceptance Letter and I-20 form, there are several steps you need to take before you enroll as a new international student.
Before You Arrive
Step 1: Obtain a student visa.
Step 2: Pay the SEVIS fee.
Step 3: Request an external evaluation of your transcript(s), if needed. Click here to learn more.
Step 4: Take an English Language Test (TOEFL IBT - Internet based test) or IELTS, if needed.
Step 5: Complete health records & immunizations (can be done on campus with a fee).
Step 6: Register for on-campus housing or locate off-campus housing.
Step 7: Request an Airport Pick-Up.
Step 8: Register for International Orientation.
After You Arrive
Step 1: Clear Immigration at the airport
Step 2: Check in and attend international orientation
Step 3: Settle into your new life at LSU!
