Medical Appointments:

Students have the option of scheduling an appointment:

  • Online (PnCWeb.lasierra.edu) signing in as you would for your university email account.
  • By phone: (951) 785-2200
  • In person: Convenience Center, 1st Floor: Student Health Services Office (Suite A).

How to Schedule an appointment online:

All of our students have access to a selection of health care providers who works within a team of nurses and support staff (practice group) and are here to help them. Open Communicator is the secure online portal for students to access Medical Services. To access Open Communicator, click here. You must then sign in using your La Sierra University email username and password. If you feel you are eligible, but are having difficulty accessing the secure site, please call Student Health Services at (951) 785-2200 for assistance.

When logged into Open Communicator, students are able to schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments, complete pre-visit questionnaires, print out immunization records, send secure messages to providers or nurses, or request a prescription refill. New features are being aded all the time, and students are encouraged to become familiar with this site and to check back frequently.

Arriving for your appointment:

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment and check-in at the front desk.

Counseling Services' No-Show Policy

Due to our waitlist and high demand for services, our no-show/late-cancellation policy is as follows: If you would like to cancel or reschedule your counseling appointment for any reason, you need to let Student Wellness Services know at least 24 hours before your appointment.   If we do not hear from you, we interpret that to mean you are choosing to disengage from counseling at this time. As such, you will be removed from the therapist's caseload. If/when you are ready to re-engage in therapy, please give us a call and we will once again place you on our waitlist.
