Principal Research Interests

My primary field of research is reformation history, focusing on the impact of the Protestant Reformation on St. John's College, Oxford and its relationship with their primary benefactors, the Merchant Taylors' Company, London. My secondary field of study is Imperial Russia, particularly during the reign of Catherine the Great, on which I teach a class for the Department of History, Politics, and Sociology bi-annually.
