ELVIN S. RODRIGUEZ
Elvin Rodríguez is currently Professor of Music and Chair of the Music Department at La Sierra University. Dr. Rodríguez also coordinates the Music Technology program, and is the University's Director of University Studies. Dr. Rodríguez frequently performs in solo and chamber recitals, and has presented at local, state, and national workshops and conferences in the areas of Baroque keyboard performance practice, improvisation for beginners, and the integration of music technology in the piano curriculum. Dr. Rodríguez continues to research and develop computerized, on-line courseware for music education, specifically in the area of music theory, and continues to compose music, specially for the choral medium. Dr. Rodríguez has worked with national and international prize winning pianists and is a frequent adjudicator for advanced and professional adjudications and competitions.
