English Placement

The Accuplacer Reading Comprehension Test and the Accuplacer Sentence Skills Test are given to determine the appropriate English course for you.

For students coming in as Freshman English placement is based on your ACT/SAT scores. You will have the option of challenging your placement if you are placed into ENGL 005 Basic composition based on ACT/SAT scores.

For Transfer students you will be placed into English based on your placement test scores. No test will be required if you are transferring in the equivalent to college writing.

Please note: When taking the test you are required to reach a certain score to move to the next test so a student might not complete both tests.

Math Placement Test
