The College of Arts & Sciences offers nearly 30 bachelor’s degrees. The school also offers a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in English, and a variety of Pre-Professional Programs.
The Bachelor of Arts curriculum provides a comprehensive liberal education. Bachelor of Arts degrees are offered in: art, chemistry, communications, English, global studies, history, individual major, liberal arts, liberal studies, music, psychology, sociology and Spanish.
The Bachelor of Music, Social Work, and Fine Arts curricula encompass four years of coursework with somewhat greater concentration in a major field.
Bachelor of Science degrees are offered in biology, biochemistry, biomathematics, biophysics, chemistry, computer science, exercise science, health science, information science, mathematics, music technology, physical science, and psychobiology.
Purpose and Mission
As a community of Christian scholars, the fundamental purpose of the College of Arts and Sciences is to provide an environment for learning and personal growth that challenges and enables students to develop their intellectual skills, to examine their values, and to mature in character and in Christian commitment.
