LATE FEES AND PENALTIES

Beginning in the 2010-11 school year, every student (undergraduate and graduate) whose balance is not completely covered by financial aid must make a payment of at least one-third of the balance due or make financial arrangements by the published deadline before each quarter.

Students are encouraged to register early and make their financial obligations known to their account payers in a timely manner.  Students who delay their registration until after the published deadline, or who fail to make a payment by the published deadline will be charged late payment processing fees.

WINTER

December 15, 2011 – $250 Late Payment Fee (if required payment is not made)

January 15, 2012 - $50 Late Payment Fee (if 2nd scheduled monthly payment is not paid)

March 31, 2012 – 2.5% of Balance fee (finance charge on any balance carried over to next quarter)

SPRING

March 15, 2012 - $250 Late Payment Fee (if required payment has not been made)

April 15, 2012 - $50 Late Payment Fee (if 2nd scheduled monthly payment has not been paid)

June 30, 2012 – 2.5% of Balance fee (finance charge on any balance carried over to next quarter)

WITHDRAWALS

A student who drops a class during the quarter may be eligible for a partial refund of tuition. No refund of charges will be processed until either a drop form is turned in and accepted by the Records Office or the student completes the drop online. Financial aid may be modified when a student changes study load by adding or dropping classes. Please see your designated financial aid counselor before dropping any number of units. See proration percentages below.
