On Dec. 4, 2009, at 7:30 p.m., La Sierra University will continue is much-loved Candlelight Concert tradition at La Sierra University Church. Surrounded by the glow of hundreds of Christmas lights and seasonal greenery, the university’s Chamber Singers, Chorale, Flute Quintet, Saxophone Quartet, Woodwind Quintet, Symphony Orchestra and Brass Ensemble will provide a musical celebration of Christmas. Randol Bass’s “Gloria” will serve as the evening’s centerpiece work and Associate Music Professor Raejin Lee, soprano, will perform.

Also, don’t forget to view the many crèches on display at Sierra Vista Chapel before and after the Candlelight Concert. The Stahl Center Créche Festival will be held Dec., 4, 6-7:30 p.m. and from 9:30-10:30 p.m., and on Sat., Dec. 5, 2-5:30 p.m.
