During the Fall, Winter, and Spring quarter, there's usually a required in-depth immigration orientation for all new and returning international students. There are also other required orientations available below. Identify your Level of Education below for more information about orientation. 

New Freshmen Students: You are required to attend TWO orientations. Those two orientations are #1 "Immigration Orientation" hosted by the International Students office AND #2 "First Year Experience Academic Orientation" hosted by CSAS (center for student academic advising). ESL & Music Certificate Students: You are required to attend TWO orientations. Those two orientations are #1 "Immigration Orientation" hosted by the International Students office AND #2 "ESL Academic Orientation" hosted by the ESL Department. Transfer, Graduate, & Doctorate Students: You are required to attend ONE orientation which is the "Immigration Orientation" hosted by the International Students office.

Please bring with you the following documents:

  • Your passport with your visa
  • Your stamped I-20 form
  • Your I-94 card (small white card, usually given on the plane and stamped by the immigration officer)
  • Health Records
  • Any official documents or transcripts needed by Admissions
