Pre-Health Professions: Partners in Your Success
Pre-Health Professions assist students with their preparations for professional programs. We offer pre-health advising, and assistance with centralized application services (e.g. AMCAs, AADSAS, PharmCAS, etc.) or the recommendation committee process. We also offer workshops that help students navigate the application process. Although we do have an “open door” policy, appointments are preferred.
Cynthia Douglas, Assistant Director for the Center for Student Academic Success, Pre-Health Professions is the main Pre-Health Advisor. She is a member of the National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (NAAHP) and advises all three and four year Pre-Allied Health programs and all Post-Baccalaureate students pursuing a Pre-Health program. Cynthia also serves as the secondary advisor for all Pre-Medicine, Pre-Dentistry, Pre-Pharmacy, and Pre-Veterinary students alongside their primary advisor in their major department. Her office is located in Sierra Vista Hall, Room 101.
