Public Health is a highly diversified field ranging from an emphasis in nutrition to the health geographics. Geology and paleontology are fascinating sciences that currently are experiencing a rapid growth. The student is engaged in field studies throughout their programs as they work with earth materials and processes. They study so as to respond to questions about earth history, environmental hazards and geological resources. This program allows students to do their first two years at an accredited institution like La Sierra University and then transfer to finish coursework at Loma Linda University. The Department of Earth and Biological Sciences is for students who wish to experience first- hand geological phenomena that cannot be understood through classroom or laboratory study only.

The first two years are spent at an accredited university before matriculation at LLU.

Entering Salary

Anesthesiologist assistants typically work a 40 hour week, with options for on-call, evening or weekend assignments. Salaries, scope of practice and job descriptions are identical to certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNA) when working within the Anesthesia Care Team. Starting salaries vary by region but typically range from $110,000 - $120,000
