MAR 29 • CUSCO–MACHU PICCHU–CUSCO (Tue) Enjoy the spectacular scenery of mountain gorges and rivers of the Sacred Valley en route to Machu Picchu, one of the world’s true wonders. Sit in silence and experience awe and reverence amidst these natural forms and human creations. The more energetic may elect to climb Huayna Picchu or hike to the Sun Gate and the Inca trail. B

MAR 31 • LIMA–IQUITOS–AMAZON LODGE (Thu) Early morning flight to the Amazon. Tour the floating city of Belen, take brunch at the Ana Stahl Clinic, trade with tribes people, stroll through an Amazon village, see rain forest animals at a family zoo.
