SAVE THE DATE for the 18th annual Archaeology Discovery Weekend, scheduled for 14-15 November 2026.
As always, this FREE event will include two afternoons of lectures by top scholars on a topic related to Near Eastern Archaeology, a special Saturday evening reception, Sunday afternoon family-friendly activities, ancient artifact displays, and refreshments provided inside of CNEA's authentic Bedouin-style tent.

In Memoriam - Audrey Shaffer (1929-2025)
The 17th annual Archaeology Discovery Weekend was proudly dedicated to Audrey Shaffer, whose years of archaeological service to and through CNEA in the lab and in the field shaped dozens of lives and has left a legacy of professionalism and collaboration emboldened by friendship and purpose that will forever be a part of all we do.
