Registration is now open for CNEA's 17th annual Archaeology Discovery Weekend featuring lectures from leading scholars on Alexander the Great & How He Changed the World! Please register in advance for all lectures, reception, family-friendly lab activities, and kid's dig. All activities are free to attend! Donations are welcome and greatly appreciated.

CNEA is excited to offer a brand-new event for kids and families that will be running concurrently with Archaeology Discovery Weekend on Sunday afternoon:
ARCHAEOLOGY ADVENTURES DAY
Join us for an afternoon of archaeology for kids of all ages! Parents are welcome to join their children or attend the ADW lectures.
Various stations will include: digging up artifacts (Kids Dig), piecing together pottery, drawing ancient objects, and more! Afterward, kids and parents are invited to head to the Zapara School of Business for a movie night featuring "Night at the Museum" and pizza.

In Memoriam - Audrey Shaffer (1929-2025)
We proudly dedicate the 17th annual Archaeology Discovery Weekend to Audrey Shaffer, whose years of archaeological service to and through CNEA in the lab and in the field shaped dozens of lives and has left a legacy of professionalism and collaboration emboldened by friendship and purpose that will forever be a part of all we do.
