Eligibility

  • Be at least 22 years of age
  • Have a minimum 30 semester units/44 quarter units of transferable college credit
  • A minimum cumulative GPA 2.0

Social Work Bachelor of Social Work

Earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (B.S.W.) affords you the opportunity to work in a variety of fields such as child, youth, and family services, aging/gerontology, health care, mental health, criminal justice, substance abuse, community organizing, and social action.

Education at the B.S.W. level focuses on generalist practice skills which allows your new career to be incredibly flexible. If you have always had trouble picturing yourself doing only one thing for the rest of your life, social work is the career for you!
