The Conferring of Degrees ceremony will be broadcast live on the internet for those who cannot attend in person.
Friday evening Consecration, and the Baccalaureate on Saturday will take place in the La Sierra University Church, corner of Sierra Vista and Pierce.
The School of Education's Dedication of Graduates will be in the La Sierra University Church, corner of Sierra Vista and Pierce.
The Divinity School Consecration will take place in Matheson Chapel.
Conferring of Degrees will take place on Founders’ Green.
While we always hope for a cool “June Gloom” type of morning for the Conferring of Degrees event, it can become very warm on the lawn if the day is sunny.

Parking for La Sierra University Consecration and Baccalaureate services are being held in the La Sierra University Church, please use the La Sierra University Church parking lots.
For Sunday morning, security officers and traffic directors will be located throughout the campus, directing guests who arrive via the main gate off Riverwalk Parkway to the various parking areas.
Guests with a Disabled Persons (DP) placard or DP license plates should use the main gate entrance via Riverwalk Parkway. Upon arrival they will be directed to the appropriate ASA reserved lots (there will be signage directing traffic to ADA lots as well).
Accommodations such as shuttle service, seating and closed captioning will be available for university guests with disabilities on the day of Commencement for graduates and guests. For additional information related to special accommodation please contact Campus Safety and Security Patrol at 951-785-2222 or email La Sierra Security office. Parking will be available in the upper campus parking lots for graduates.
GRADUATES: We are also asking graduates to use the badged upper campus gates to access campus for Commencement. If you try and access campus using the main gate off Riverwalk Parkway you will get stuck in guest traffic and could very well be late for graduation.
Seating for Conferring of Degrees on Founders’ Green is available on a first-come, first-served basis. At least one family representative must be present to hold seats. All seats not occupied by 7:45 am must be released to others attending the event.
La Sierra University is very proud of the accomplishments of each of our amazing students, so we want the ceremony to be a pleasant experience for everyone.
The Conferring of Degrees ceremony features traditional academic regalia and requires proper decorum. Please respect the rights and feelings of other participants and guests by remaining in your seat until all of the graduates have been recognized and the ceremony has concluded.
In consideration of the speakers no beach balls or other distracting objects will be allowed in the commencement venue. Cell phones should be in silent mode during the ceremony.
For non-emergency medical service during the Conferring of Degrees ceremony, please contact an usher (wearing black vests) or call La Sierra Security at 951-785-2222. For life thratening emergency services call 911 immediately.
Restrooms are located in several buildings around Founders’ Green, including La Sierra Hall, Hole Memorial Auditorium, the Dining Commons, and Gladwyn Hall.
All guests and grads are cordially invited to celebrate with faculty and administration at the post-Commencement receptions held by each school after the Conferring of Degrees ceremony. Light refreshments will be served.

You may bring photos, balloons, flowers or other gifts for your grad. We will also be selling various items in our pop-up gift shop.
