Summer Research Experience (SRE) at La Sierra University is an opportunity for undergraduate students to work in an active laboratory environment while receiving compensation for expenses to facilitate training. Ideal SRE candidates are Riverside area community college students pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). These students will assist with experiments and research while earning real-life experience in the laboratory.  SRE will be open to students who have completed their first year of college by June 16, 2025. An application and interview are required to obtain an SRE position. For more information, contact Dr. Michael Gutierrez at mgutierr@lasierra.edu
