Mission Statement
The Office of Institutional Research at La Sierra University is dedicated to providing accurate and relevant data to support informed decision-making across the university community. Our mission is to enhance institutional effectiveness through data-driven insights that foster academic excellence and operational efficiency.

Reports
We provide a range of reports by employing the following methodologies:

• Descriptive Analysis: We summarize and present data to describe the current state of various institutional metrics, helping stakeholders understand performance trends.
• Diagnostic Analysis: We investigate data to identify the causes of specific issues, facilitating informed problem-solving and strategic interventions.
• Predictive Analysis: We utilize statistical models to forecast future trends, assisting in proactive decision-making and resource allocation.
• Survey Design and Implementation: Our team can assist in designing and conducting surveys to gather feedback from students, faculty, and staff.
• Comparative Analysis: We provide benchmarking data to compare La Sierra University with peer institutions.

Request Process

1. Submit a request by clicking the Open IR Request Form button.
2. An IR team member will send you a confirmation email along with the expected delivery date of the report within 3 business days.
3. The IR team may request a meeting for clarification if needed within 14 business days.
4. The report will be shared as a dashboard in Power BI or a Google Spreadsheet. Please note that IR analytics team does not email disaggregated data to any entity due to privacy and cybersecurity concerns.
