Payment Breakdown
- Electronic Transcript - $11.50 (1-3 business days for processing; transcripts ordered on Thursday or later may be processed the following week.)
- USPS Standard - $13.50 (1-3 business days for processing)
- Records Office Pickup - $13.50 (select "I'm sending to myself or another individual" and then "Sending to myself" and then Local Pickup; 1-3 business days for processing)
- USPS International - $14.50 (1-3 business days for processing)
- USPS Expedited Shipping - $55 *only available within continental US (1-3 business days for processing, tracking number included. Overnight delivery is not guaranteed. Orders placed on Thursday or later may not be processed until the following week.)

Transfer Process New Transfer Student Steps
1 - Enrollment Services
Meet with an Enrollment Services Counselor to discuss admission procedures, financial aid estimates, and available academic programs. Call (951) 785-2000 or e-mail [email protected].

2 - Application & Official Transcripts
Apply online and request that your official transcripts be MAILED directly to:

3 - La Sierra University Acceptance
Receive e-mail and/or formal letter of acceptance from the Office of Admissions.
4 - Official Transcript Evaluation
Receive confirmation that your official transcripts have been evaluated for La Sierra University course equivalency from Jesus Menchaca, Records Specialist, [email protected]. To facilitate accurate academic advising and course registration, transcripts must first be evaluated.
5 - Financial Clearance
Send your FAFSA to La Sierra University (school code: 001215); then make an appointment with a financial aid counselor by calling (951) 785-2175 or e-mailing [email protected]. Pay at least one-third (1/3) of your quarter’s balance by the following dates: September 15 for Fall Quarter, December 15 for Winter Quarter, and March 15 for Spring Quarter.
6 - Your Portal Account
Access the University Portal at https://portal.lasierra.edu. To activate your account, click the Reset Password link on the login screen. The system will send a login notification to your secondary email, if one is on file. You may contact IT at [email protected] or (951) 785-2900 if you have any questions or concerns.
7 - Registration Holds
Holds prevent registration. View holds in your Portal account at https://portal.lasierra.edu. From the Main Menu, go to Self-Service > Students > Student Records > View Holds. To request information about a hold, contact the 4-digit campus extension beside each hold. If calling off-campus, add "(951) 785" to the extension: (951) 785-####.
8 - Placement Testing
Students without a passing grade of “C” or above in a college-level Math may need a placement exam. Contact the Learning Support & Testing Center at (951) 785-2896 or [email protected]. Testing may have a charge. For more information, visit the Testing Center webpage.
9 - Academic Advising
After transcript evaluation, contact the Office of Academic & Career Services (SASS) at (951) 785-2452 or [email protected] to schedule an appointment where you will select courses.
10 - Class Registration
Students who have been advised may register for classes by logging in to the University Portal at https://portal.lasierra.edu.
11 - Attend La Sierra University Orientation
FALL | WINTER | SPRING | SUMMER
 Attend Golden Eagle Day or Orientation to learn university policies, academic requirements, and campus resources important for a successful transition to La Sierra. To register, access the Golden Eagle Days Registration. 
12 - Textbooks
Purchase books online at the https://bkstr.com/lasierraunivstore website.
