Beginning freshman year, my advisor made sure that I was taking all of the classes required for application to medical school. The strong science curriculum eased the MCAT preparation for me. The Pre-Med Club deepened my understanding of the field by providing me with opportunities to become involved in medical settings as well as the community.

The Pre-Health Professions Office at La Sierra University is a big reason why I was able to be a successful student. Dr. Dean and the rest of the office always took time to answer my questions and help me become a stronger candidate for medical school. The Pre-Professional Conference and classes like Introduction to Medicine were not only exciting, but they made the application process much easier. Dr. Dean connected me with mission-minded students that had a common future with me. I am so thankful to La Sierra and the Pre-Health Professions Office, because now I have a bright future.

The science curriculum challenged me more than I expected when I transferred to La Sierra from a larger research university. I was not
disappointed.

I am so grateful that I came to complete my pre-medicine requirements at La Sierra University. The institution not only taught me science and prepared me for continuing my professional career - it also amplified my spiritual growth. Choosing to attend La Sierra University has been one of my life's most important decisions.

The Pre-Professional Office has helped me in so many ways, especially Dr. Dean. She gave me valuable advice for my interview and application process. She helped ease some of my anxieties. I will never forget what the department did for me. I am greatly appreciative of their hard work.

As a theology student, I’ve really appreciated both the academic and spiritual community here. The Theology Department offers professors who not only care about teaching but also about mentoring and walking alongside us as we grow in our calling. The classes challenge me to think deeply about faith, Scripture, and ministry, while also preparing me in practical ways for life after graduation.
What I love most, though, is the sense of community. My classmates and professors make this more than just an academic experience. It feels like a supportive family where people encourage one another both inside and outside the classroom. Being surrounded by others who share the same passion for faith and service has been a huge blessing. I’m grateful to be part of a program that combines strong academics with a genuine, welcoming community.

Working at La Sierra University has been a truly rewarding and enriching experience. The university fosters a supportive and inclusive work environment that values collaboration, professional growth, and a strong sense of community. From day one, I felt welcomed and appreciated as part of a team that is genuinely dedicated to the mission of providing quality education rooted in Christian values.
One of the most notable aspects of working at La Sierra University is its commitment to academic excellence and student success. Faculty and staff are encouraged to innovate, engage in meaningful research, and contribute to a positive learning environment. The leadership team is approachable and responsive, creating a culture where open communication and mutual respect are prioritized. The campus is beyond beautiful and well maintained with security patrolling throughout the school. Overall, I am proud to be faculty at La Sierra and am excited for what's to come!

I am grateful to have spent the past four years at La Sierra University, where I completed a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Management. My experience in the Honors Program was truly enriching, and I am especially thankful for the outstanding faculty and staff at the College of Arts and Science and the Zapara School of Business, whose guidance and support made a lasting impact.
As I continue my education in graduate school, I feel confident and well-prepared for the next chapter of my journey. More importantly, my time at La Sierra has instilled in me a deep commitment to lifelong learning and a passion to seek, know, and serve others. If you're considering La Sierra as your next home, do it! :)

I completed my MBA in Marketing from La Sierra University. I loved the beautiful campus, going to the gym, hiking Mt Tubit and making new friends at Vespers. My favorite part was how the Dean of Business, John Thomas took the time to encourage me to start a business. I felt unqualified but he suggested I just try. He told me to come meet him once a week and give him updates on my progress. Some of those weekly conversations were rough as I had no idea what I was doing, but John Thomas was always brutally honest with me, something that prepared me very well for the business world. I would feel deflated as I prepared to leave, but he would always give me a little hint on where to find the correct answer as I was about to walk out of his office. Since those meetings, I've worked with celebrities, thousands of business owners, Fortune 500 companies and am now a CEO. Everything I've done in my career came from the confidence that the Dean of Business gave me to simply try.
