The school’s curricula emphasize workplace spirituality, social entrepreneurship and ethics. The focused study of these themes as part of the business curriculum fosters intellectual development and expands students’ moral and spiritual horizons. Service-Learning activities simultaneously express its commitments to excellence in the school’s areas of distinctive competence and provide students with the chance to develop appropriate habits and skills.

The school recognizes the importance of business education in cultivating the development of students as whole persons. It educates students—its own majors and others—for active citizenship, assisting in their moral development, facilitating their awareness of culture, and helping them to integrate their work with the rest of their lives. It challenges them to understand work as a potential vocation, a unique responsibility they can receive as a gift from God and an opportunity for service.
