Missions Rush Week kicks off Winter Quarter at La Sierra University

A series of special programs emphasizing the need for students to become involved in mission service culminated with a special University Worship service featuring Dick Duerksen, from Maranatha Volunteers International. After the worship service, students gathered on Founders' Green for a celebration barbeque sponsored by the Student Life office and hosted by President Randal Wisbey and the university vice presidents. Students received their lunch from the university leaders, and enjoyed the 70-degree sunshine while students at many schools across the country bundled up against another blast of winter.
