On Tuesday, May 26 at 7 p.m., the Music Department will deliver one of its final concerts for the 2008-09 school year. This free concert, which will place in Hole Memorial Auditorium, will feature a number of entertaining chamber ensembles, ranging from flute, clarinet, and saxophone groups, to a mixed woodwind quintet and two jazz combos.

Under the direction of Drs. David Brennan, Martin Glicklich, Ken Narducci and Bill Wellwood, these student groups are primed to deliver an entertaining show.

Works will range from classical composers like W.A. Mozart, Joseph Haydn, and Antonin Dvorak, to more contemporary composers such as Percy Grainger, Gabriel Pierne, and Malcolm Arnold. Also included are some arrangements of traditional gospel hymns, as well as jazz favorites by Scott Joplin, Miles Davis, and Bill Evans.

Come out and enjoy a great evening of diverse music and support some very talented student performers.
