The moving images on batik fabric seem captured in time, freeze-framed in a stained glass pattern of golds, deep reds, mauves and black. La Sierra University sophomore Kiyomi Fukui created the work that will be displayed in La Sierra University's Brandstater Gallery during its Annual Juried Student Show April 13 - 30.

The exhibit will feature students' best drawings, graphic design, photography, printmaking, collages, ceramics, handmade books and Web design. This show will display class projects by freshmen, sophomores and juniors.

The gallery will hold an opening reception April 13, 6 - 8 p.m. Admission to the show and reception is free. Gallery hours are Mon. - Thurs., 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Sun. 2 - 5 p.m., closed holidays. Call (951) 785-2170 for more information.
