Trumpeter Brian Swartz to perform at Troesh

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Trumpeter Brian Swartz whose extensive credits include work on Grammy-winning projects will take the stage in a performance at La Sierra University.

Trumpeter and music educator Brian Swartz will bring his talents to the stage at Troesh Conference Center on March 13,

Swartz will perform for the Pierce Street Jazz series on Wednesday, March 13 at 7 p.m. at the Troesh Conference Center, Zapara School of Business. Henry “the Skipper” Franklin, bass, Theo Saunders, piano, and Yayo Morales, drums, will join Swartz on stage for a two-set show. Admission is free.

Swartz’ wide-ranging career includes appearances on multiple Grammy-winning and nominated recordings and work with a wide range of music industry A-listers including The Dixie Chicks, Michael Bublé, Patti Labelle, Natalie Cole, Diana Reeves, The Luckman Jazz Orchestra, and many others. 

Swartz has also garnered acclaim for his arrangements and compositions. He studied at Solano Community College, Cal State Northridge, and the University of Southern California, and performs and teaches in the Los Angeles area.
