Program Description
The Applied Behavior Analysis program allows a student to work towards becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The Master of Arts (MA) degree in Applied Behavior Analysis in the School of Education is comprised of a minimum of 45 quarter units including the following components: Core Requirements (6 units), Content Specializations (33 units), and Electives (6 units). Students also have the opportunity to pursue the ABA specialization through the Doctor of Education in Educational Psychology degree, which is comprised of a minimum of 132 quarter units post baccalaureate.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst
The Association for Behavior Analysis International has verified the following courses toward the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst® or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst® examination. Applicants will need to meet additional eligibility requirements and demonstrate they reside in an authorized country before they can be deemed eligible to take the examination.
