What to Expect
Explore Your Academic Interests
Prospective students can take part in breakout sessions and department experiences led by faculty and university representatives. Learn about majors, academic pathways, career opportunities, and what studying in your area of interest looks like at La Sierra.
Admissions and Financial Aid
Admissions and Student Financial Services representatives will be available throughout the event to answer questions about:
- Applying to La Sierra University
- Admission requirements and next steps
- Scholarships and financial aid
- Costs and financial planning
- Enrollment resources and support
Student Life and Campus Resources
Connect with current students and representatives from campus departments and organizations to learn more about the La Sierra student experience.
Our Passport to Success resource experience lets attendees visit participating campus resource stations, collect stamps, and discover services that support academic achievement, involvement, wellness, and student success. Completed passports can be redeemed for Open House swag.
Campus Tours
Optional residence hall tours will be offered at the end of the event.
For Counselors and Community Partners
High school counselors, administrators, teachers, community-based organizations, and other educational partners are encouraged to attend. Open House is an opportunity to experience La Sierra firsthand, connect with university representatives, learn about academic programs and admission pathways, and gather resources to share with the students and families you serve.
