Testing Clinic Tomorrow and Wednesday

Dear Faculty, here we are, the beginning of a new year, a new quarter, another round of zooms and virtual experiences with our students.

I know this is not the beginning we had envisioned this time last year. And yet, there is always something exciting about first weeks. We have another chance to work together. We have hope on the horizon.

But what inspires me the most on this first day of winter quarter is how we have made it this far. Truly, it is because of your resilience, your creativity, your commitment to the life of the mind that I begin this quarter with optimism and a sense of peace.

  • Don’t forget that we have a testing clinic tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday down at the Alumni Pavilion. You only need to bring the one form with you. Here is the link to sign up:  https://lasierrauniversitySWScovidtesting.as.me/
  • What to Bring: New test requisition form that is attached (BIG thanks again to Chris Kaatz for making this adobe fillable!).  If this is your first testing event, please also bring with you a copy of your health insurance card or government-issued ID if you do not have insurance.

As we go forward together, don’t forget to care for yourselves. Take the time you need to breathe and reflect. Rest when you need to and surround yourselves with whatever inspires you. Remember that you do not have to be perfect. And please reach out if there is anything you need.
