Carnegie Concert Donations

Our Story

The Department of Music at La Sierra University has a rich history of excellence in music. During the early years of La Sierra College/Southern California Junior College, music and music education was part of the vision. Many amazing professional musicians have performed in Hole Memorial Auditorium and have worked closely with our students over the years and continue to do so as we speak. Our program is fortunate to have dedicated and connected music faculty members that are giving of their time and resources to help students grow into fine young professionals.

Your Donations

The La Sierra University Wind Ensemble has been invited to perform at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for many of our students to perform at such a venue. The goal is to raise $45,000, your donations will help cover the cost of travel. To show our deepest gratitude, your organization’s name will be listed as a supporter on our website and programs. With your help, we look forward to representing our university, community, music department, and church.

Your donation is tax deductible and you will receive a emailed receipt following the completion of your donation. For the purposes of strengthening the development program at La Sierra University 5% of all gifts will be used to partially defray related fundraising costs. We welcome your feedback as we steward the essential gifts necessary to fulfill the mission of La Sierra University.

In order to send an offline gift (checks) we ask that you please follow these instructions:

  1. Make a check payable to "La Sierra University"
  2. On the memo line of the check, please indicate that the donation is for "Carnegie Concert Donations"
  3. Please mail your check to:
