Cal Grant
Cal Grants are free dollars-up to $9,358 for college each year. Cal Grants A and B are for undergraduate students who meet the financial, academic, and eligibility requirements, and apply on time. Cal Grant is for students who will be attending a teaching credential program, in exchange for teaching service.
Basic Requirements:
- Submit FAFSA & verified CalGrant GPA forms
- California residency
- U.S citizenship or eligible non-citizen
- Financial Need
- Minimum GPA requirement
- Enrolled at least Half-time
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress (by La Sierra standards)
- Have family income and assets below established ceilings
- Not be in default with any student loan

Friday:
8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
During the school year, all service offices close on Tuesdays from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for University Worship.
