Cal Grant

Cal Grants are free dollars-up to $9,358 for college each year. Cal Grants A and B are for undergraduate students who meet the financial, academic, and eligibility requirements, and apply on time. Cal Grant is for students who will be attending a teaching credential program, in exchange for teaching service.
Basic Requirements:

• Submit FAFSA & verified CalGrant GPA forms
• California residency
• U.S citizenship or eligible non-citizen
• Financial Need
• Minimum GPA requirement
• Enrolled at least Half-time
• Maintain satisfactory academic progress (by La Sierra standards)
• Have family income and assets below established ceilings
• Not be in default with any student loan
