Steps for Registration

Contact your department for advisement

Contact your department for advisement on which courses you need to take. For a list of online courses offered, CRN numbers, and term starting and ending dates, click: Course Schedule. (Select the term under "Term Description" and select "Distance Learning" under "Campus")

For new students who want to register for an online course as a non-degree student, please fill out the Unspecified Student Registration form, scan and email it to esifuent@lasierra.edu or FAX it to (951) 785-2447. You may call (951) 785-2006 to confirm that your fax was successfully received.

Fill out the Online Advisor Approval form

All online students must fill out the "Online Advisor Approval" form at the beginning of each term to get clearance from their departments to register for an online course. Please click the link below to fill out and submit the form online.

Once you get cleared by your department to register for the online course, you will receive an automated email (In your La Sierra email address) from the registrar's office indicating that you have been authorized to register for the course. The email will include the course information, CRN number, and other important information.

Financial Clearance

You must call the Student Financial Services office at (951) 785-2175, before you register for the class, to confirm your payment process and the total charge of the online classes and, if you are eligible for any scholarships, to submit your proof of employment to receive the scholarship.

Please inform the Student Financial Services office as soon as possible if you applied, or are planning to apply, for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Make sure to mention that you are taking an online class.

Please refer to the Student Financial Services webpage for information and assistance in fulfilling your financial obligations. All students registering for the online courses must follow the same financial procedures as students participating in traditional classroom-based courses. For PUC teachers, online classes fall under the the same tuition waiver proccess.
