Live Audition Guidelines

Repertoire Guidelines (Select ONE): Your selection should best showcase your vocal range, technical agility, and dramatic expression suited for Mozart's operatic style.
• Option A: Any Classical Piece (Opera aria, Art song, or Art-song style piece)
• Option B: Any Musical Theatre Piece composed before 1985

Important Audition Tips
Prioritize Familiarity: Do not try to learn a brand-new, difficult piece in 3 weeks. Choose a song you already know well and can perform comfortably from memory.
The First 2-minute Count: The audition panel may only listen to the first section of your piece. Make sure your vocal strengths, tone, and character presence are immediate from the very first measure.
