Focus 2 Career Assessment

Focus 2 is an online, interactive tool that will be used to help you find your major and career pathway. Using short quizzes you can learn more about yourself and the careers best suited for your interests, personality, skills, values, and leisure interests. Career Services will help you develop an action plan to help you reach your educational and career goals.

Getting Started

• First time users must click register to create their own personal account.
• The access code is lasierra
• You must enter your La Sierra email and Student ID to access Focus 2.

Starting Out

• Career Readiness: This is a good place to start to figure out where you are in the career process and get an idea for what you can do to support your career and educational decisions
• Self Assessments: There are five different quizzes you can take to learn more about what you are interested in and where your skills, leisure, values, and personality place you.
• The more quizzes you take, the more refined your results are. Look through your list of recommended careers and highlight your top choices

Learning more about careers

• Career choices: Save your top career choices and majors from your assessment results.
• Exploring: You can compare occupations side by side and then match them to La Sierra majors
• Career Portfolio: Your choices and assessment results will be saved in your portfolio which can be printed out and shared with your career advisor.
