Services

Types of Services

  • Small Group Sessions: In small groups, students who are learning the same subject begin the session by setting a goal. Then, the Learning Assistant, using the socratic method or questioning, will assess what the students do and do not yet know and guide them to work together to reach their goal.
  • Study Hall: With our space, we offer individual students a general, studious environment that they can use to crack-down on their studies. We have a plethora of resources, such as whiteboards, markers, Learning Assistants and the like, around to help any student stay focused and well-equipped to succeed in their work.
  • Math Study Slams: The study slams are for the Math 006 & 007 courses! They take place during the week of their exams and are hosted by the university math professors alongside our math Learning Assistants. They provide extra assistance for the students taking these specifically-challenging courses.
  • Professor Office Hours: Professors may use our library space to offer assistance to students in their courses, allowing both student and professor access to a new space when working together.
