Financial Opportunities

Office of Academic & Career Services (OACS)
Job Opportunities, Internships, and Career Advising such as Resume, Job application, and Cover letter help.

Office of Student Involvement / SALSU
Promotes events concerning off-campus or on-campus career opportunities collaborating with OACS. / Stipend provided for service in Student Government.

Student Financial Services (SFS) / Federal and State Grants
Financial Aid Advising and Scholarship Information/The stuff you want to apply for before you have to borrow money.

Student Life / Golden Eagle Food Pantry
Student Pantry is available for students who need food due to financial challenges. On-campus and community food pantry options listed.

Student Financial Services (SFS) 
SFS sends out a customized Total Indebtedness Letter to students’ email explaining the costs and student loan information that they currently have due to loans.

La Sierra University Church  
Food pantry available on Wednesdays (except for the 5th Wednesday of a month).

Allred Center for Financial Literacy
This center, located in the La Sierra University School of Business, exists to promote free market economics through the education of students, with a focus on Seventh-day Adventist high schools.

Payback 
College Life Simulation. Interactive game to simulate college choices ($) and how much you’ll need to repay after 4 years.

Banzai Plus
Budgeting Simulation. This simulation contains real-life, adult-sized obstacles with the goal of purchasing a home.  Some concepts covered are credit scores, spending choices, retirement savings, identity theft, tax returns, and more.
